Sweet, juicy, and kiiiinda easy to peel, these are the kind you keep going back to without even thinking.

They’re coming from Gisborne and are a variety called afourer. These are a later season mandarin with a seriously good flavour. Their skin is a little tighter than a Satsuma, so they’re not quite as effortlessly easy to peel, but they can still be peeled by hand. You might also find the occasional seed hiding inside!
