Refund and Return Policy

At Misfit Garden, we're on a mission to rescue perfectly good fruit and vegetables that don't fit the supermarket mould. While our produce might be a little misfit on the outside, it should still be fresh, delicious, and ready to enjoy.

If something isn't right with your order, we want to know about it.

Returns

Because our produce is perishable, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

Refunds

If any of your produce arrives damaged, spoiled, or not in a condition you'd reasonably expect, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

To help us understand what went wrong, we'll need:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photographic evidence of the affected produce
  • Photos help us assess the problem, improve our quality control, and ensure we're being fair to all customers.

How we assess refund requests

Every refund request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We know that no two boxes—or vegetables—are exactly alike, so we'll take the time to consider each situation individually.

Where appropriate, we may offer:

  • A partial refund
  • A full refund
  • Store credit towards a future order

The outcome will depend on the nature and extent of the issue.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

When to contact us

As produce is perishable, we ask that any concerns be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Requests made after this period may not be eligible for a refund.
