2 Ingredient Persimmon Chocolate Pudding
Got ripe persimmons? You’re about five minutes away from a rich, chocolatey dessert that feels way fancier than it has any right to be. No baking, no fuss; just blend, chill, and eat!
Ingredients
- 4 very ripe persimmons
- 4 tbsp cacao powder
Method
-
Prep the persimmons
Cut the persimmons in half and scoop out the flesh, discarding the skins.
Make sure they’re properly ripe and soft—this is what gives the dessert its natural sweetness and silky texture. -
Blend
Add the persimmon flesh and cacao powder to a blender.
Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. -
Chill
Spoon the mixture into jars or small dessert glasses.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set. -
Serve
Enjoy straight from the jar, or flip them out for a soft, pudding-like mini cake moment.
No sugar, no dairy, no drama. Just fruit doing something wildly unexpected.
