Spinach & Banana Smoothie

  • 1 cup loosely packed spinach, washed.
  • 1 cup milk of choice or to taste
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, use coconut yoghurt for a dairy-free option
  • 1 ripe banana
  • Dash of cinnamon, optional
  • A few ice cubes.
  • If using frozen banana, skip the ice cubes, and add a teaspoon of honey.
  • Play around with the ingredients, add frozen berries, pineapple, apple, mango, etc.
  1. Combine spinach, milk and yogurt in your blender. Blend until smooth and there are not bits of spinach left.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend again.
  3. Taste. Add extra milk or some water if a thinner consistency is desired.
  4. Enjoy immediately.
