Spinach & Banana Smoothie
- 1 cup loosely packed spinach, washed.
- 1 cup milk of choice or to taste
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, use coconut yoghurt for a dairy-free option
- 1 ripe banana
- Dash of cinnamon, optional
- A few ice cubes.
- If using frozen banana, skip the ice cubes, and add a teaspoon of honey.
- Play around with the ingredients, add frozen berries, pineapple, apple, mango, etc.
- Combine spinach, milk and yogurt in your blender. Blend until smooth and there are not bits of spinach left.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend again.
- Taste. Add extra milk or some water if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Enjoy immediately.
